What a fine example of this popular Dinky toy! Bright, lustrous original paint finish throughout, this model marks the renumbering from 582 to 982 during 1955. It has a vivid mid blue cab and hubs, with a paler blue back including the decks. Version without window glazing. 582 stamped on the trailer. “DINKY TOYS DELIVERY SERVICE” lettering on both sides and back – all in perfect condition. No window glazing version. A very attractive example on display:
Just the occasional little mark. Fine black grille and bumper with both headlights present. Bright base. Smooth original tyres run well.
The transition box, bearing both numbers at the ends, is bright and clean, with minimal wear only.
Nice to see the original card packing wedges are still present.
