An attractive sign with wooden "DINKY TOYS’ lettering fixed atop a red coloured panel within a grey metal frame. ‘MADE BY MECCANO LTD.’ in yellow print (which would illuminate, unchecked, period two-pin plug fitting). With fluorescent strip light in place. Pressed steel fitting. Sign measures approx. 40 cms x 8cms x 14.5 cms.

A dramatic period display piece that may be suspended or simply placed on a shelf.
