Dinky 156
Dinky 140B/156 Rover 75 Saloon. Cream with blue wheels. Scarce. Very, very near mint (but tyre flat spot)/boxed (correct colour spot). Early 156 issue from 1954. From The Cumbrian Collection.
Notes
An early 156 issue in fine all original condition with a shining rich cream finish, blue ridged wheels, and Rover cast in to the underside of the roof. Bright base and smooth -running original tyres.
A virtually mint paint finish. Small casting mark on the roof. One of the smooth original tyres has a flat spot.
The scarce transition box which shows both the early 140B numbering and 156 was issued during 1954. Notably, this example has the correct cream colour spot, too. Light handling wear/grubbiness. Period pricing on an end flap.
