Dinky 161
Dinky 161 Austin Somerset Saloon. Scarce red and yellow version. Very near mint/boxed. From The Cumbrian Collection.
Notes
Now here’s a rare and sought-after variation! This two-tone red and yellow classic Dinky car was issued between 1956-59. Presents so well with this vibrant, glossy finish!
A desirable car in very close to mint condition. Not a trace of a roof rub, this model has a wonderfully vivid lustre! Little raised casting mark at the front edge of the roof. Mere dot or two to the paint finish. Closest scrutiny will find a small dot retouch on a boot detail.
The box is complete, clean and bright with no tears. Crisp feel. Very minor age/handling wear. Correct two-colour spot at the end flaps.

Notoriously difficult to get in good condition!
