Dinky 162
Dinky 162 Ford Zephyr Saloon. Scarce lime green and cream version. Very near mint/boxed. From The Reference Collection.
Notes
A pleasing example of a scarce variation, this Mk.1 Zephyr is finished in lime green and cream, with fawn hubs. Rear number plate detail and rear lights (all correct and original). 1956-60.
(Usual colour is deeper green and cream and is distinctly different). One mark on the boot and the occasional tiny rubs to the green finish at the raised body lines at the sides (minor). Tiny mark or two besides.
Bright baseplate. Well-shaped original tyres.
The box is really fresh, clean and bright, with a crisp, barely handled feel. An edge crumple and little end flap edge scuff caused during storage however. Correct colour spot.
