Early issue made between 1955-59.
This fine French Dinky Fire Engine is one of the first French Dinky Supertoys! 1:55 scale. This Turntable Fire Engine has an all original paint finish. Red convex wheels. 32D stamped baseplate. Original tyres are well-shaped, feeling supple, although one in particular is somewhat stained now. Spare is stowed. Ladder needs re-stringing.
The occasional little mark at an exposed edge and a few tarnished spots on the extending ladder. Bright winding handles and baseplate.
The striped picture box is clean, fresh and bright, happily free of punctures. Very minor age wear. Complete with packing insert along with the often-missing additional card packing piece with ‘TIREZ’ (i.e. pull) printed.
