Notes
Issued between 1965-67, this sought-after Corgi Ford Thames Ice Cream Van has a shining, original blue and cream finish with intact original ’Wall’s’ transfers on both sides. Suspension on one shaped spun wheel only – the others are firm but do not spring. Fine original tyres. Grey base.
Colourful striped awning has no sunfading. Windows are not’ foggy’ either!
Paint finish is virtually perfect.
Included is the pictorial card plinth which is pristine, and includes both figures of the ice cream seller and boy. Original card support still in place within the plinth base.
The pictorial card box presents very well – colourful, clean and crisp. Crease and a couple of tiny tears. Little corner edge ruffle. Light wear besides. No graffiti.
