Notes

Not an easy model to find! This large Dinky excavator model was issued between 1963-67. The model has a primrose yellow plastic body with red and green metal parts. Complete ‘Ruston Bucyrus’ labels on both sides. A couple of very small chips on the edge of the red platform on one side and a very small chip at a corner edge.. Bright and shiny metal parts. Accurate track replacements are included (just one original track remains – the original rubber tracks nearly always perish).

The distinctive sturdy card Dinky Supertoys box is clean, bright and complete.
Note the old tape residue which kept the lid closed some clear tape applied to the reverse of the box but there are no punctures or signs of repair at this site) and the occasional fleck of surface loss.
Nearly always discarded is the colourful paper-over-sleeve. Nice to see this one still present. A notable tear and a a few little edge tears besides. Small portion missing.
