Corgi 1142
Corgi 1142 Holmes Wrecker Vehicle. Very near mint/boxed (earliest version, half-yellow, half-blue card top section). Gold boom version. With Instruction Leaflet & both original mechanics. From The Reference Collection.
Notes
An impressively detailed truck from Corgi.
With a deep red and white paint finish and complete ‘Holmes Wrecker’ transfers on both sides. Intact wing mirrors with both reflective stickers still in place. Intact and straight gold-coloured double horns on the roof. Complete red hazard ‘light’. Both spare tyres are still in place. Chevron paper label at the rear of the model has a little wear to one small section. This gold boom example displays well.
Polystyrene inner is complete, bright and fresh with a vibrantly-coloured original Corgi Cog label.
The earliest version (with half-blue & half-yellow top card section) card and cellophane-fronted box has bright, intact card. Original cellophane window is puncture-free. Scribble at an end flap. Light wear.
This example comes complete with the original Instruction leaflet and both mechanics.
Issued between 1967-74.
