Spot-on 'Magicar' 982

The first we have ever offered for sale.

This is a scarce set from the well-respected Spot-on company. A short ‘Magicar’ series of models that were listed for a short time (1965).
This set comprises:

1) Batmobile, with both figures of Batman & Robin.

2) ‘The Riddler’s Rolls Royce’ in vibrant orange with ‘?’ labels on roof and doors.

3) ‘Mr. Freeze’s Ferrari’ in white.

These are all interchangeable body shells for the chassis & motor.

In very close to mint-mint condition. Hard to fault, save for the lack of paper decals on the Ferrari now and a small pen mark on one of the Riddler’s labels.

Please note that we are able to source a mint, unboxed Mr. Freeze’s Ferrari complete with the paper icicle details.

Box inner is clean, bright and fresh-looking. Note that the are couple of areas of ‘separation’ at the serrated section at the back of the plinth.
No tear at wheel slots. Very small scuff.
The large window box has colourful, atmospheric graphics and unsurprisingly the cellophane has been replaced now. Light wear and the occasional small tear to the box besides. Instruction on base of box and promotional details on box reverse.
