Notes
One of the most popular Corgi models ever, this is first issue casting, production run (1965-69). Note the indicator light casting and double side vent present on this early issue. Also, earlier issues tend to have a “crisper” casting.

This James Bond Aston Martin is in all original condition with none of the reproduction accessories, rife with this issue.
The car is fully functioning, complete with both figures. Looking unused and barely handled, this example has a close to mint, all original, intense gold finish. Note the roof sits flush.
The occasional negligible dot to the paint finish. Note that the bullet screen still has its gold paint – the first area to wear during use. Clearly, this function has rarely, if ever been used.
The 2nd issue card plinth (i.e. with arrow on the red section where the model is placed) is clean, bright and intact. Coupe of wheel slot tears.
Pleasing artwork on reverse too:
The Instruction Packet has been opened (slit open at one end). Complete with all accessories (badge, Instruction Leaflet and spare villain).
Secret Instructions Leaflet (detail the retractable machine guns, opening roof and ejector seat, rear bullet screen and telescopic over-riders – all have been tested and work perfectly).
The 2nd issue outer box – with shading detail around the lettering ASTON MARTIN DB5 on the box face and a thick black border around the JAMES BOND’S lettering – has only the lightest wear. Crisp, barely handled feel to the intact card.
