Dinky 156
Dinky 156 Rover 75 Saloon. Mid-blue and cream. Large print baseplate. Very near mint/boxed. Scarce. From The Berlin Collection.
Notes
This most eye-catching Rover Saloon has a very close to perfect mid-blue and cream finish. Issued between 1956-59.
Note that this example has the large print and 156 on the baseplate.
Note a small raised casting mark on the bonnet. Couple of tiny (probably factory assembly) marks besides. Tiny body line rub or two.
The pictorial box is complete and brightly-coloured. Correct two-colour spot at the end flaps. Small tear emanating from an end flap corner. Small stain dot and light wear.
Two-tone cars from this period in this condition are always highly sought.
