Notes

This 1st issue example is in beautiful, close to mint condition. Lovely and unmistakeable silky matt paint finish (few of these have survived, most were gloss finish).

Small flake of paint immediately below the screen (Robin’s side) and a few minor marks at the rear. The occasional negligible pinprick dot to the paint finish besides.. Suspension is fine on the front wheels, none at the rear wheels (as is often the case). The car sits fine and straight. Vivid blue screens, both seated figures of Batman and Robin, bright chrome to launching tubes and cockpit, vivid Bathubs and Bat logos on both sides. Intact aerial. Pulsating flame, chain cutter and rocket launchers have been tested and work well.
Card inner is very bright and clean with vivid day-one bright artwork. Card is crisp and displays extremely well.
Still present is the original card packing piece which slides into the plinth base.
Couple of minor tears to 1 wheel slot, a little ruffle to another.
The Secret Instruction Packet has been opened. It contains Instructions, and a full sprue of yellow rockets. Original badge. Additional Slip is included.
The colourfully illustrated outer box is vivid, clean and bright. Very crisp and fresh-looking. Hard to find this good. Tiniest wear only.
