Notes

A popular Corgi set issued between 1966-69 and comprising:

1) Corgi 491 Ford Consul Super Estate Car in deep metallic blue finish with “wood” side panels, suspension on bright shaped spun wheels, jewelled headlights, cream interior and opening tailgate. Well-shaped original tyres.
Presents well with gleaming paint finish and chrome trim. Note the little mark on the back of the roof caused by lifting up the tailgate -mere dot or two on the door handles. Note the application of Corgi period accessory labels.

2) Golfer, caddie and trolley; all original.

Inner card stand is crisp, bright and fresh, with the original piece of card in the base, too. Small area of wear at the front edge near the golf clubs.
The outer box is complete and brightly-coloured. Light age/handling wear including a very small tear. Period price label at an end flap. Light water stain. With Corgi Club Membership Form.
