Corgi 228
Corgi 228 Volvo P.1800. RARE SALMON PINK issue. Very near mint/boxed. From The Berlin Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1962-65 in a variety of colour finishes, this salmon pink finish being the most difficult to find. After 1965, this car became the Saint’s Volvo (renumbered Corgi 258).
This example is in all original, very close to mint condition with a bright lemon interior and original silver detailing at the raised body lines and bumpers. Suspension on shiny shaped spun hubs and the supple original tyres are well-shaped.
Displays well in this distinctive colour finish.
Three tiny chips on the top edge of the passenger side window.
The box is complete, clean and strongly-coloured. All end flaps are intact. Only the most minor age/handling wear only.
