Dinky 100
Dinky 100 Lady Penelope's Fab 1. Very, very near mint/boxed. Non-fluorescent pink, with clear sliding roof. Silver painted base. Five-stud wheel version. From The Edinburgh Collection.
Notes
Inspired by the Gerry Anderson Thunderbirds T.V. series from the ’60’s. This Fab 1 model is finished in non-fluorescent pink, with a clear sliding roof, scarce with a silver-painted base.
Gold interior and both original seated figures of Lady Penelope and Parker. It comes complete with an intact bonnet emblem, jewelled headlights and intact front and rear number plates. Five stud wheels.
The Fab 1 presents very well indeed. Old shop stock quality piece – hard to find even the smallest mark.. The car comes complete with a *firing rocket and four rear harpoons.
The colourful card stand is crisp and bright. A little wear to the black card where the car sits (this is a heavy vehicle), and a few very small wheel slot tears.
Instructions are on the reverse of the card stand, detailing how to fire the front rocket and rear harpoons.
The pictorial card box is complete and bright. A little age/handling wear and a faint trace of a (probably purchase) date on one non-picture side, (April 1968). Crease and a little wear at end flaps.
One of the most sought-after Gerry Anderson inspired Dinky models!
