Nicky 170
Nicky 170 Lincoln Continental. Silver with a black roof version. Very near mint/boxed. Scarce. From The Berlin Collection.
Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
A very close to mint example finished in silver with a black roof, jewelled headlights, off-white interior, black steering wheel, and intact window glazing. Silver and black plastic one-piece tyres/wheels.
Shiny black base with ‘NICKY TOYS ’ and ’LINCOLN CONTINENTAL’ (the word DINKY obliterated) .
Light roof rub and a mere dot or two besides.
The colourful correct box (ATAMCO P LTD. Calcutta) is colourful, clean and complete. Large end flap has a seam tear but very minor wear besides.
