Corgi Gift Set 16

Notes

A most popular and sought-after Gift Set from Corgi, this scarce version was issued during 1965.
It comprises:

1) Ecurie Ecosse Transporter has a pleasing light metallic blue finish, shaped spun wheels, tan interior and a light grey base. Suspension. Sliding side door, window glazing and a drop down ramp at the rear. Red lettering at the sides. Able to ‘transport’ the three racing cars included with this set! Red lettering is bright with none of the usual rubbing. Little marking to the sliding door (due to box contact).
Yellow Label ‘GENUINE TRACK-ROD STEERING’ & original band in situ.

Complete with the Instruction Leaflet too.

2) 150s Vanwall Formula 1 Grand Prix Car is in original virtually mint condition. Driver. Suspension. Intensely crisp , fresh box has a small area of very light sunfading. Couple of faint creases.

3) 152S BRM Formula 1 Grand Prix Car is complete with driver and intact bright labels. Complete Racing Number 1.
Couple of little marks head-on. Such a crisp, fresh box. Small area of very light sunfading.

4) 154 Ferrari Formula 1 Car. Driver. Suspension. A little tarnishing to the roll bar and a mark head-on. A virtually pristine box.

Important to note that this is not a later made-up set, since these items were all available individually at the time..
Pictorial Lift-off Lid Box has really bright colours on intact card. Presents very well.

Small start of a seam tear – and a light water stain on one side. Barely any wear besides. Box inner has bright clean card with no tears. Additional card packing wedge & unfolded Corgi Club Membership Form, too.
