Dinky 153
Dinky 153 Standard Vanguard Saloon. Very near mint/boxed. Cream early issue with smooth wheels and no tail light detail. Fine box! From The Berlin Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1954-60, this model presents so well with a shining deep cream finish with cream hubs, closed in rear wheel spats, and smooth black original tyres and ‘Vanguard’ cast on the underside of the roof. This model presents well with its classic lines – not even a trace of a roof rub!
Shiny baseplate and the smooth original tyres are as-new and run well!
Correct that this early issue has no rear light detail and has smooth tyres.
Occasional tiny side body line mark only.
The box is a crisp, bright and fresh example with barley any wear. Light crease.
