Dinky 167
Dinky 167 A.C. Aceca Coupe. Brown & cream issue. Very, very near mint /boxed. Outstanding picture box! From 'Gordon's Collection' - a high quality gathering of some of the most popular and sought-after models.
Notes
Issued between 1958-63, this version is a more difficult find. Finished in glossy deep brown and cream, with fawn cast hubs. More unusual variation in comparison to the red and grey version.
Looks very close to mint. Shiny base (minor ‘spidering’) and the treaded tyres are well-shaped.
Little stray drip ( factory) of cream paint at a rear wing and a couple of near-microscopic dots of stray brown paint ( factory again) at a wheel arch.
The box is very nice indeed: really brightly-coloured, crisp and fresh-looking. Barely any handling wear at all. Correct two-colour spot at the end flaps. Period pencilled price at an end flap.
