Notes
A very popular Corgi model – this example is in all original, very close to mint condition. The left-hand drive version has a complete detailed bonnet label, (a beauty – with none of the usual wear), complete door numbers, fine “Nairobi” label, and a gleaming scarlet red paint finish, chrome bumpers, wheels, baseplate, and sparkling jewelled headlights!
Note the circular card ring has never been removed from the top of the car.
The item comes with the rhino, as well as the white card wrap-around packing piece.
The colourful card plinth on which car and rhino sit is a most attractive display piece. Crisp, as-new feel to the undamaged card. Very, very nice!
Vividly-coloured backdrop with no tears at wheel slots. Both end pull tabs are present. Box reverse has lots of information about the “Beetle”. Pristine.
The outer box is brightly-coloured and crisp too with no tears. Light crease and tiny wear besides. Period price at an end flap. Note the in the print blemish to the letter ‘R;’ of Corgi at one end flap.
