There were lots of colour versions of this popular Dinky toy!
This version has a mid-tan cab, mid green back, red hubs, black lettering. An all original example – complete with a working tow hook. “DINKY SERVICE” lettering is complete on one side, small scratch to the other side.
Couple of minor marks to the paint finish. Shiny metal winding handle cuff. Bright baseplate (minor ‘spidering’).
The striped ‘DINKY TOYS’ picture box is intact; the lid & base are both strongly-coloured. Light wear only (and no punctures!) Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this particular example from December 1955.
