Notes

Issued between 1961-64, this two-part set from the popular Chipperfield’s Circus range, with both original lions displays well. It comprises :

1) Corgi 1121 Circus Crane Truck. Unfaded vivid red and yellow finish with light blue lettering notably unrubbed at the sides. Bright winding cuff is metal, matt silver jib and strung winch. Few little marks on the bonnet and the occasional small mark besides.

2) Corgi 1123 Circus Cage. Matching finish, complete with all blue plastic sliding doors intact. Notably, the amber roof lights are intact (tiny marking) and the blue doors have not discoloured. Chipperfields lettering in blue is unrubbed. Bright shaped spun wheels and red plastic tow bar. A few marks at the drop-down side hatches.
Two lions are includes as well as an unapplied ‘LIONS’ transfer are still present.

The colourful pictorial lift-off lid box is bright with no splits or graffiti. Some edge rubbing/light scuffing/wear.
