Dinky 274
Dinky 274 A.A. Mini Van. Very, very near mint/in red and yellow picture box. From The Daylight Collection
Notes
Originally purchased by the owner from a collector who enjoyed touring toy shops in the mid 60’s & early ’70’s buying models that appealed to him. If he could find a bargain then he would buy multiple examples of the same item. His collection comprises Dinky, Corgi and several Spot-On models.
Issued between 1964-73, this version has an original deep yellow finish with a white roof, blue interior and a silver base. Complete ‘AA Service’ labels on both sides and on the roof sign, Harder to find issue with AA Labels and ‘SERVICE’ in yellow with black surround. Bright spun wheels with suspension. Smooth-running, original fine tread tyres. Notably, all the delicate transfers are intact and complete throughout and that includes the labels on the rear opening doors.
A superb, untouched example in virtually mint condition.
The bright, crisp and clean, red and yellow picture box has day-one vibrant colours. Clean and fresh. Very nice!
