Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
This example is the first we have offered for sale in (non-military) bright metallic green.
Model is in virtually perfect condition with a pleasing lustre. Silver trim.
Plastic one-piece wheels.Intact tinplate screen and black plastic steering wheel.
Base has ‘TOYS’ but no ‘DINKY’ letters. ‘JEEP’ lettering present.
The pictorial card box presents well with light wear and small portion of the tuck-in part of one large end flap is missing.
