All of the models from The Smith Collection were bought by the same young boy on a weekly basis when they were released, and kept by the same collector unplayed with and in many cases never taken out of their boxes, right up until the present day. Rather unusual for a lad to buy toys and not play with them but he was a collector from a very young age!
Issued between 1961-65, this sought-after model has a bright gold and white paint finish with a vivid red interior, opening bonnet (complete with the often missing detachable air filter). Suspension on shiny flat spun wheels. Fine original tyres.
Few little exposed edge marks.
The pictorial box is clean, complete, crisp and bright. No tears. Light wear. Corgi Club Membership Form.
