Corgi 1117
Corgi 1117 Loading Trolley. Very near mint/boxed with all packing, Instruction Leaflet & promotional booklet. With a working mechanism. From 'The Smith Collection' - one owner from new models.
Notes
The owner tells us:
All of the models from The Smith Collection were bought by the same young boy on a weekly basis when they were released, and kept by the same collector unplayed with and in many cases never taken out of their boxes, right up until the present day. Rather unusual for a lad to buy toys and not play with them but he was a collector from a very young age!
A very pleasing example from the popular Corgi “Bloodhound” military range issued between 1959-61. In complete condition, with working mechanism for raising and lowering the mid section, with brass hydraulics. Pivotting drawbar.
All original military green finish with shining flat spun wheels, as-new original fine tread black tyres including the spare.
Another completely unused item from this collector. Just a couple of small contact marks on the swivelling drawbar.
The colourful pictorial box is very fresh, bright and clean. Upper and lower card packing pieces, as well as the Instruction Leaflet, the Promotional ‘Rocket Age’ Booklet and Corgi Club Membership Form.
