Corgi 1115
Corgi 1115 Bristol-Ferranti 'Bloodhound' Guided Missile. Very near mint /boxed, with leaflets, upper & lower packing. From 'The Smith Collection' - one owner from new models.
Notes
The owner tells us:
All of the models from The Smith Collection were bought by the same young boy on a weekly basis when they were released, and kept by the same collector unplayed with and in many cases never taken out of their boxes, right up until the present day. Rather unusual for a lad to buy toys and not play with them but he was a collector from a very young age!
The first we have offered for sale in a long while. Nearly always found as part of a Gift Set. Another exceptional, unused item from this collector – nearly always found with much more marking to the finish! Inevitable ‘melting’ or distortion to the rubber nose – most are found in pieces after all this time! (Issued 1956-61).
The colourful lift-off lid box is clean, fresh and brightly-coloured, showing minimal wear. Both upper and lower card packing pieces are present ( looking fresh, intact). Instruction Leaflet, ‘Rocket Age’ Leaflet and early Corgi Club Membership Form also included.
