Dinky 129
Dinky 129 M.G. Midget Sports. Very near mint/boxed (end flap repair). Very scarce U.S. issue. From The DC Collection.
Notes
Dinky 108 was issued briefly as an U.S. export model in both red and cream.
This red version is a real showstopper! This M.G. has a brilliant flame red finish with mid brown seats, red ridged wheels, intact original windscreen, correct without driver or racing numbers.
In ex-shop stock condition. The baseplate is bright and without tarnishing. Correct that the number 108 is printed on the base since a special baseplate for the U.S. issue was never made.
Closest scrutiny reveals a few tiny marks only. Small chip on the front bumper.
The pictorial box is very bright and clean, looking rather ‘scrubbed’ in appearance. One small end flap has been carefully re-attached. Correct colour spot. The initial ‘D’ in red ink at an end flap. One edge crumple and tiny handling wear besides.
