Notes

The owner tells us:
All of the models from The Smith Collection were bought by the same young boy on a weekly basis when they were released, and kept by the same collector unplayed with and in many cases never taken out of their boxes, right up until the present day. Rather unusual for a lad to buy toys and not play with them but he was a collector from a very young age!

This popular Corgi Major Model is an especially rare find with a matte yellow Bedford ‘S’ cab and an eye-catching mid-metallic blue back with working winch. Early issue with flat spun wheels. (Model was issued between 1958-63).

This example looks unused. Complete Corgi dog logo and number plate at the rear. An outstanding example with a probably as-made mark on the top of the drop down ramp section.

The lift-off lid pictorial box has vibrant colours on clean, undamaged card. Minor storage wear only. Internal card packing piece is present. Two Corgi Club Membership Forms are included ( little and large!).
