Notes
Issued between 1961-62, this is an intriguing transition version of the Aston Martin. At first glance, it looks relatively unassuming, until you note the particular combination of colour finish, (later) shaped spun wheels, (early feature) open bonnet vent, and (transition) closed base with product number cast.
A few little marks at the rear including one of the rear light details. Marking on the baseplate. Occasional tiny dot besides.
The box is complete and strongly-coloured with resistant end flaps and a crisp feel. Storage creasing on one side and a period penned price.
Rare to come to the market-place.
