Dinky 917
Dinky 514/917 Guy Van "SPRATTS". Near mint plus/boxed. From The Botany Bay Dinky Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1954-56 and scarce in such fine condition, this is the more unusual dual-numbered transitional issue when the model changed from 514 to 917. Virtually perfect eye-catching transfers on one side with the letters forming the shape of a dog. Little rub to the letter ‘G’ on one side.
In all original condition.
Few minor marks to the paint finish.
The box too is complete, bright and clean. Minor wear and an ink blot on the underside of the box base. Dated 1954 from the Dinky stamp inside the box lid.
