This eye-catching Dinky commercial was made during 1953-56 and is a sought-after Dinky model. This particular example was issued during 1954 ( Dinky stamp inside the box lid). Such a vibrant deep red original paint finish! 2nd type cab, black ladder and black filler caps. Well-shaped black radial tyres. 20 mph transfer in place.
‘MOBILGAS’ transfers are fine on both sides. Couple of little nicks to the rear transfer.
Close to mint condition, with barley a mark visible .Strong light and a magnifying glass reveals a few subtle touch-ins.
The dual-numbered ‘DINKY TOYS’ card box is complete and brightly-coloured, if a touch grubby now. No splits or repairs. Rusty staples.
