Notes
Issued between 1959-64. A wonderful item on display, this is the 1st issue Mobilgas Tanker, and a more difficult find with flat spun wheels. Original scarlet finish with intact transfers at both sides and at the rear transfer (light age wear).
Shiny base and well-shaped original tyres (minor surface split to some).
Close scrutiny reveals the occasional very small mark to the paint finish. Note a couple of stray dots of yellow paint( may be possible to remove).
The lift-off lid box is complete and strongly-coloured. Some paper surface loss to the box lower, largely obscured by the lid when in place. Seam tear to the lid and a small part tear besides. Original packing card is still present.
