D918
Dinky 918 Guy Van "EVER READY". Very near mint/unboxed. From The Reigate Collection.
Notes
An essential item in your Dinky commercial collection, this Guy van was made during Dinky’s heyday and is part of the sought-after range of advertising vans made during mid-late 1950’s.
This eye-catching van is happily free from the repainting and retouching often found, sadly, with this series of valuable commercial models, nowadays.
So this model has a bright mid-blue original paint finish, red grooved hubs, baseplate with spare wheel still affixed, and opening rear doors. Close to perfect – perfect transfers on both sides and above the cab – just one little scratch and one tiny nick.
Very little rubbing and wear to the paint finish at raised bodylines etc. The occasional tiny mark only. Nice lustre to the paint finish throughout. This Ever Ready Van presents very nicely indeed.
Issued between 1955-58.
