C273
Dinky 273 Mini Minor Van 'RAC'. Silver base issue. Near mint plus/boxed, with card packing ring. From The Daylight Collection.
Notes
Originally purchased by the owner from a collector who enjoyed touring toy shops in the mid 60’s & early ’70’s buying models that appealed to him. If he could find a bargain then he would buy multiple examples of the same item. His collection comprises Dinky, Corgi and several Spot-On models.
Issued between 1965-70, this Mini Van has a vibrant blue and white finish, red interior, bright shaped spun wheels with suspension, and a shiny silver base.
RAC paper labels are bright, complete on both sides. One of the delicate transfers on the opening back doors has a small top edge nick. ‘Road Service’ sign lacks a tiny piece ( due to the way it has been factory fitted).
Gleaming bright and original paint finish. A little paint loss at a wheel arch and door hinge.
The colourful pictorial box is crisp, bright and clean. Tiny wear. Period price label at an end flap. Card packing ring is included.
