Notes
Issued between 1969-72. This impressive set comprises a Scammell Handyman MKIII in blue and red finish with a bright chrome jib and hook as well as a rhinoceros in a plastic cage. Vibrant original paint finish, complete paper labels, detailed cast wheels – amore difficult find with ‘stepped’ wheels to the cab. Complete and bright “Come to the Circus” label (minor age transparency) correctly on one side only. Rhino within its intact plastic cage with packing perspex strip and grass/straw detail.
Paint finish is in very close to mint condition.
These white plastic inners are nearly always found with splits since they become so brittle with age this example has fared better than most with tiny wear only.
The outer box is brightly-coloured and complete. Light wear. Original cellophane has a small tear.
