Notes
Originally purchased by the owner from a collector who enjoyed touring toy shops in the mid 60’s & early ’70’s buying models that appealed to him. If he could find a bargain then he would buy multiple examples of the same item. His collection comprises Dinky, Corgi and several Spot-On models.
Issued during 1960 by the respected Spot-on manufacturer in strictly 1:42 scale.
This version is finished in* beige with grey seating*, driver behind the wheel. Looks very fresh with just a small factory assembly mark low down at the sides and the occasional little dot besides. Chrome is generally gleaming bright but under very close inspection you may see a little box rub. Delightfully detailed window glazing with ‘rain spattered’ front and rear screen, and windscreen wipers. Complete number plates front and rear.
Shiny shaped spun wheels and as-new original tyres.
The deeply-coloured card box is clean, strongly-coloured and crisp. Tiny tear at an end flap edge. Little label at an end flap.
Complete with both the Picture Card and Collector’s Leaflet.
