Notes
Issued between 1962-68, this off-white ambulance has a longer red side stripe at the sides and the first example we have ever offered for sale with a red interior. Complete with stretcher and patient, both seated figures, intact delicate roof beacon and siren. ‘Ambulance’ window sign is intact on both sides (clear glass). Suspension on bright shaped spun wheels. Fine tread as-new tyres. Matte baseplate. Opening rear door.
A few little marks and a small area of rough casting at a front wing.
Bright, clean and crisp card box is the version with one large internal end flap (no serrated strip now). No tears or graffiti. Presents very well.
