Notes
According to an ex-employee of Ford who was involved in the ordering of this maize issue from Corgi, model was commissioned at the time of the launch of the real car. These maize models were made just prior to the standard release colours which ran from 1970-73.
This example is in fine unused, original condition with a matt black roof, vivid red interior. After careful scrutiny, a small partial thickness mark may be found at a rear wing.
Complete with figure of Graham Hill.
Red and yellow window box is crisp, bright and clean. Light colour fading to the top section of one end flap. Note too ‘WHIZZWHELLS’ ( not Whizzwheels) print on card reverse. Intact original cellophane.
