C1147
Corgi 1147 Scammell Truck "Ferrymasters". Very near mint/boxed & PLAIN MAILING BOX. Exceptional outer box! From The MBU Collection.
Notes
Made between 1969-72, this truck is in very close to mint, all original condition. Bright deep yellow, black and white finish with two detachable, intact plastic yellow canopies with complete ‘FERRYMASTERS THE INTERNATIONAL HAULIERS’ on both sides. Complete ‘FERRYMASTERS’ label above the cab. Cast wheels. Two pairs of jewelled lights. Spare wheel.
Mere dot to the paint finish and a light surface grubby mark on one side of the cab ( which may be cleaned away). Suspension is fine, save for one rear wheel (one of the small suspension components snapped off in transit to us – common fault).
The box is extremely fresh, clean and bright. Vivid scene on the reverse of the box. The white card inner is intact and comes with polystyrene packing piece at both end flaps and another which runs along the base for support. Corgi Club Membership Form. Original cellophane is smooth and intact. Well-protected in this plain lift-off lid outer box with “FERRYMASTERS” in blue ink. Light wear includes old tape residue which kept the lid closed and staining around staples.
