FD25V
French Dinky 25V Ford Refuse Tipper. Very near mint/not individually boxed. From The HNC Collection.
Notes
This cleverly designed 1:65 scale refuse truck would not have been individually boxed; the Dinky shopkeeper would have had a trade box of six. Issued between 1952-55. This issue has a cross braced interior surface of the tailgate.
With a lustrous deep green finish throughout, this Dinky truck is in all original condition with a small area of paint loss at a raised side detail. Shiny base, axles (including the ends) and winding handle, (i.e.the mechanism for raising and lowering the back works well)!
Smooth original tyres with ‘M’ stamped – one tyre has a small surface split.
