D30SM
Dinky 30SM Austin Wagon. Very near mint/never boxed individually. Very scarce US export issue. Includes original Trade Box (wear). From The 25 Year Collection.
Notes
A fine example in all original condition, which would have been sold originally from a shopkeeper’s trade box of six. Complete and intact and in splendid condition with a military green finish, issued between 1952-54.
Baseplate is shiny, generally ( few duller patches). Well-shaped original smooth tyres.
Barely any marks at all – one of the best examples we have seen. Presents very nicely indeed with a fine black and silver radiator and headlight assembly.
Very scarce model – particularly in this condition.
Included is the original yellow trade box which would have been sent by Dinky to the shopkeeper filled with 6 of these models. Worn now and lacking dividers, it is included simply for interest. Hudson Dobson U.S. export label (with wear) is in place on the lid.
