Notes
Issued between 1966-69, this scarce and desirable Gift set comprises:
1) 337 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray,yellow, red interior, cast wheels with suspension. Barely any marks to the paint finish but note the chrome loss (mostly at the front bumper – common fault).
2) 312 Jaguar ‘E’ Type in brilliant chrome finish, black seating, spoked wheels with suspension. Near mint plus, with complete transfers.
3) 314 Ferrari Berlinetta, red, racing number ‘4’, spoked wheels with suspension. Excellent plus. Wear to headlight finish. A few marks to the paint finish.
4) 324 Marcos Volvo 1800 GT in blue, with two stripes, spoked wheels with suspension. Excellent (only) with peppering of little chips.
5) 325 Ford Mustang Competition, white, red stripes, racing number 8, detailed cast wide wheels with suspension. Near mint with a few minor marks and light wear to roof label. Marking at bumpers.
This set comes complete with 12 traffic cones and the Corgi Club Membership Form.
Polystyrene tray is bright and clean. Very nice indeed.
Outer box is generally clean and bright with intact original cellophane. A little minor wear and a tear to the card where it joins the cellophane at the top. Remains of an old price label nearby. Remains of an old price label at an end flap too.
Still presents well with strong colours.
