C246
Corgi 246 Chrysler Imperial. Rarest 'Kingfisher blue' colour finish. Near mint/boxed with packing ring. From The 25 Year Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1965-68, in various colour finishes, this attractive American car has the rarest colour finish i.e. kingfisher blue – displaying well with this most distinctive of colour finishes.
This particular colour finish seems to have been especially difficult for Corgi – and is nearly always flaky. This example has a few little flakes . With a fine sheen, this model comes complete with both seated figures. Light blue interior.
Deep grey base, cast spoked wheel detail and fine original treaded tyres.
Inside the boot are the little set of golf clubs.
The pictorial box is crisp and brightly-coloured, with no tears or graffiti. Comes with the original card packing ring and Corgi Club Membership Form. Faint remains of a shopkeepers price on one box face.
Rare to come to the market place.
