C803
Corgi 803 The Beatles Yellow Submarine. Red hatches issue. Very near mint/boxed, with Corgi Shopkeeper's printed Price Label. From The MBU Collection.
Notes
A sought-after Corgi model in original condition with all four figures of John, Paul, George and Ringo.
Red hatches issue.
Transfers are complete throughout (hard to find this good!) and the periscope is undamaged, rotating when the model is pushed along. Hatches open and close well.
Intact plastic propellor, too.
Little rub at the nose of the submarine and a coupe of tiny dots.
The deep blue moulded plastic inner has a little break in one area – this type of plastic becomes so fragile and brittle over time, and this example has fared better than most!
Box colours are fresh and vivid with lots of atmospheric artwork. Light crease where the header card section meets the main body of the box. Light scuffing at an end flap. Minor age/handling wear besides. Cellophane window has ben carefully replaced at some time.
Corgi Shopkeeper’s Printed Price Label is included.
Overall, a very pleasing example of this popular and iconic original toy!
