C811
Corgi 811 James Bond Moon Buggy. Very near mint/boxed. From The MBU Collection.
Notes
This James Bond Moon Buggy inspired by the film ‘Diamonds Are Forever’ is in superb, totally unused condition with a complete paper label at the front of the model. The ‘arms’ are bright and untarnished and keep their position well (they do not flop at the sides!) and
the red scanner revolves slowly as the Buggy moves along.
The roof opening mechanism which causes the figure of James Bond to pop up when the hatch flips open works well.
The occasioanl negligible mark and a small thin yellow line (due to prolonged contact with the inner – may be possible to carefully clean away).
The fragile window box is especially difficult to find with original cellophane. This example has original and intact cellophane! Colours are vibrant. Card has minor handling wear only. No graffiti or tears. Attractive inner backdrop (moon scene) too.
A fine and desirable James Bond item made between 1972-74.
