N693
Nicky 693 Howitzer Gun. Very near mint/boxed. Scarce. From The Compton Collection.
Notes
Sought-after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
Deep military glossy paint finish on this Howitzer model with well-shaped rubber tyres and metal wheels. Couple of probably as-made marks on the underside.
Bright and crisp picture box has a couple of little tears at a non-picture side (caused by the model) and a small puncture on the other non-picture side (again caused by the model). Couple of thin strips of surface loss and light wear besides.
