Issued during 1960 by the respected Spot-On manufacturer in strictly 1:42 scale.
This version is finished in red with a silver chassis, black roof and silver wagon bed. Intact BRS logo on both cab doors. (Note that this is the version that does not have ‘BRITISH ROAD SERVICES’ lettering at the sides.)
The original paint finish has an attractive sheen which shows that this model has had minimal handling and has been carefully stored. Presents well!
Complete number plate at the rear, front number plate has a couple of minute edge nibbles.
Virtually mint condition with a few mere dots/marks, visible to those who are determined to find them!
The card box is bright and complete. Carefully repaired corner split to the lid. Minimal wear besides. Complete product label at a lid end and a period pencilled price.
Inside, you will find the intricate full card packing insert in which the truck is secured in place. Little edge crumple and traces of paint from the model.
Nice to see the little Spot-On Collector’s Card and promotional leaflet are still present too!
