C1127
Corgi 1127 Simon Snorkel Fire Engine. Near mint plus/boxed. Gold jointed pipes issue in card box. With leaflet. From The Collection of a Doctor.
Notes
A popular Corgi model from the Major Packs Emergency Vehicle range of toys.
The Simon Snorkel fire engine was made between 1964-74. This example has a Bedford cab, spun wheels, 6 firemen, water cannon, extending and rotating boom. Original fine tread tyres run well. Version with gold boom jointed pipes.
Small flake of paint at the top of one of the booms near the yellow basket. No fire man in the basket. Occasional little mark to the paint finish as you might expect.
Polystyrene tray has minor shelf grubbiness on the underside and a small chunk missing from the underside too. ‘From Mam & Dad’ neatly penned in small letters.
The lift-off lid card box is an early issue with lots of bright atmospheric artwork on the lid.
Vibrant strong colours and minimal wear. Few stain spots at one short lid end.
Original leaflet is included:
